Once your exam is complete and you’ve received instructions on how to use the WatchPAT, you’re free to get started. Your physician will evaluate your results and create a personalized sleep report with a treatment plan and necessary prescriptions. HOME SLEEP TESTING
If you have tested positive, stay at home and self-isolate. Someone from GGD Amsterdam will call you with advice on what to do. Or you go to a day centre where many of the clients can be considered vulnerable people . Do you have symptoms that may indicate a COVID-19 infection? If so, do a self-test to see whether or not you have COVID. It is also advisable to do a self-test if you have had contact with someone who has tested positive, or when you return from abroad.

I think it’s a rather strange statement especially coming from someone who’s a medical professional. The whole idea behind these huisartsenlaboratoriums is that they perform the blood tests and other tests on behalf of the GP’s. Otherwise every GP practise would have to have a complete lab where they can perform all kinds of tests. That would be very costly and very inefficient, so that’s why GP’s have outsourced this to these labs. I know for a fact that you can go to a huisartsenlaboratorium to have your blood tested. Last year I had to have my blood tested and I went to a huisartsenlaboratorium.
